Privacy Policy

This policy explains what LEO (the online coaching service of Joe Meglen, PGA) collects, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect what's needed to coach you and run the service, we don't sell your data, and you can leave anytime.

1. What we collect

Account info: your email address, name, skill level, and your goal statement from onboarding.
Coaching data: what you tell LEO about your game. This covers your prompts, report-backs, adjustment chats, and the sessions LEO builds for you. This history is what lets LEO coach you better over time.
Usage and diagnostics: product analytics (PostHog) and error reports (Sentry) so we can fix problems and improve the service, plus standard server logs.
Payments: handled entirely by Stripe. Your card number never touches our servers. We store only your Stripe customer reference and subscription status.

2. How we use it

To build your practice sessions and personalize your coaching.
To operate billing, token grants, and account access.
To monitor reliability, prevent abuse, and improve the product.
If you opted in, to send occasional practice tips and updates from Joe. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can change your preference anytime by contacting us.

3. The LEO app waitlist

If you join the LEO app waitlist, we keep your email address, and your first name and phone type if you give them, only to tell you when the app launches. We also note when and where on the site you joined, and your LEO account if you were signed in. Our analytics sees the join and your phone type, never your address. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your waitlist entry at any time through the contact links on the homepage.

4. AI processing

Your coaching prompts are processed by AI models (Anthropic's Claude) to build your sessions. We send only what's needed for coaching, never your payment details. Coaching videos are delivered privately via Cloudflare Stream.

5. The Listen button

When you tap Listen, the text you asked to hear (a lesson card, a Before you play card or one of LEO's replies) is sent to OpenAI to turn it into audio. That text can include your first name.

6. What we don't do

We don't sell your personal data.
We don't share your coaching history with anyone outside the service providers listed here.
We don't show ads.

7. Service providers

We rely on a small set of processors to run the service: Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare (video delivery), Anthropic (AI coaching), OpenAI (the Listen button's audio), Upstash (rate limiting), PostHog (analytics), and Sentry (error monitoring). Each receives only the data needed to do its job.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and analytics cookies to understand product usage. We don't use third-party advertising cookies.

9. Data retention and deletion

We keep your account and coaching history while your account is active so LEO can keep coaching you. If you want your account and data deleted, contact us through the links on the homepage and we'll remove it, except for records we're legally required to keep (like payment records).
